As a child I was an avid stutterer, had the tendency to rush words when excited, and possessed a funny accent with an unbeknownst origin. Combined, they attributed to the often heard, “What?” from adults. At a young age I started to write, and quickly became enthralled. For me, writing was a release. It allowed others to focus upon my intention and point, over the way I paced and swayed when speaking in public. I still stutter today, am less nervous but speed-talking arises occasionally, and my accent is milder. But still, penning away is release, if not from vocal hindrances, from the swirling mix of pressing thoughts.
I believe I was born with a natural talent to write, a gift, to be used to its fullest. I write to process, to educate, to think, to share, to imagine, and to encourage. A life goal of mine is to complete a Journalism Degree. In the meantime, I offer my ideas, projects, and thoughts for your reading pleasure. Writing gives me joy, as well as fulfillment for my brain and spirit. Hopefully, my words will give you joy, inspiration, encouragement, and anything else you desire to gain, as we adventure into the jungle of my mind and personality.
In conclusion, my dear visitor, I think this relationship will work out very well. Please do keep up with me via subscription or email (see right), as I would love to have you around these parts often.
Blessings,
Anjeli Carol
